Recently renovated home with modern amenities mixed with Lancaster County charm for a relaxing place to stay while you visit the many attractions in the area. Dutch Wonderland, Sight and Sound Theater, Historic Strasburg, and the Village of Intercourse are among the many attractions nearby. Property has a large, rear, fenced yard that is perfect for kids. A fully equipped private 2 bedroom apartment located in the daylight basement of our secluded home that is surrounded by woods. We reside upstairs but your space is completely private with your own separate entrance. You also have a private outdoor patio space with fire pit to relax and enjoy the beauty around you! You could even take a dip in your own hot tub and watch the stars at night. Lots of beautiful nearby hiking, mountain biking and the Susquehanna river boat launch is only 1 mile away!

Stairs are a must in this old home, with 2 bedrooms (1 overlooking the falls & one having 2 queen beds) and a full bath are upstairs. Dogs ok with messaging.

The Duke of Lancaster

A complete remodel finished in August of 2020 preserved the heartwood pine floors from the 1800s and some of the original brick work but that is where the old part ends. Everything else is new as you can see in the pictures. including the all new HVAC system. We are perfectly situated close to downtown and just 5 blocks from the Convention Center. Have fun in Lancaster or just enjoy the front porch looking across to a ball field or the back balcony looking over your own private back yard.

There are many shops and restaurants nearby as well. We are in the heart of the tourist area and we hope you love it as much as we do!
