The Tritsch House Walser Room

Enjoy a private room in this fully remodeled 1902 Queen Anne. The Walser Room has a private bathroom with shower, as well as a Jacuzzi tub. Guests have access to all of the main level common areas including the parlor, living and dining rooms, and any one of the three porches. Two of these porches have Mississippi River views. Guests also love hanging out in the newly remodeled kitchen. Sorry, but microwave only cooking. This is not a bed and breakfast and breakfast is not provided.

Governor's Mansion Inn - twin rooms

Small room with 2 twin beds and full modern bathroom in our 8-room boutique hotel. We have 2 of these cozy, dorm-size former servants quarters rooms. The historic mansion was once home to 17 of Wisconsin's Governors. We are located in the Mansion Hill district on the shore of Lake Mendota. Keep cool in the summer and inspired in the winter with our Ski Themed room! The Inn is located on a piece of land that's called the "Sugarbush" because the Native Americans used the land to tap the trees for Maple syrup. Today the majority of the Sugarbush is used by Mt.Ashwabay who maintain beautiful cross country and mountain biking trails. You can even access these trails right from our property!
