The cottage is named for the cows that live in the surrounding fields who will often pop their heads over the garden wall to have a munch on the foliage. The main bedroom wing of the coach house was built in 1580 and the sitting room wing in 1740. The building was restored in 2018, and mixes rustic charm with contemporary design.
