Hidden on a hillside in the old town of Wirksworth, the cottage has amazing views over the Derbyshire Dales and pretty Wirksworth. Relax in this perfect cosy country retreat in the heart of beautiful Holbrook Village. Stone Trough Cottage is approximately 150 years old with thick stone walls and original oak beams. Centrally heated and with a log burner for those cosy winter nights. You’ll find plush carpets and cosy bedrooms with plenty of storage space. The local country pub is a one minute walk. The local bus takes you the 10 minute ride into the bustling town of Belper with many individual shops, bars and restaurants.

Centrally located to the bustling high street, with an array of friendly independent shops, from artisan bakeries, cafés & bars. Not only a fantastic high street, Belper has some excellent walks around the beautiful countryside, wander through Riverside meadows & amble along quiet lanes & be sure to be rewarded with some spectacular views.

Hillside is a recently built limestone self contained holiday let, on the edge of a pretty Derbyshire village. Hillside overlooks the village of Bonsall (near Matlock) offering beautiful views from the windows and private patio of the village and surrounding countryside. Bonsall offers an excellent pub, cafe and village shop. There are numerous walks from the doorstep - the Limestone Way passes through the village. Chatsworth, Bakewell, Dove Dale and the Monsal Trails are all a short drive away.

Peak District - Garden Cottage in Milford

The Garden apartment in historic Milford offers a cosy, self-contained retreat in a Grade II stone cottage, built c.1795, with a private garden and scenic views of the World Heritage mill village. The old mill is currently being developed. The area is easily explored with walks, pubs & restaurants from your doorstep. A bus route provides easy access to the Peak District National Park, Derby city, shops, and tourist attractions like Chatsworth, galleries & museums. We’d love to welcome you :-)

Stone Rise Cottage, Belper

Stone Rise Cottage was built in 1874 and has been renovated to its characterful feel today. Entering through the stable-front door, is a traditional kitchen with all the necessities. Beyond this is the lounge with log burner, beams and doors to the stone terrace. There’s also a quaint dining room for evening meals. Upstairs is a modern, renovated bathroom with bath and traditional shower. There are two double bedrooms, both with an elegant feel and a double wardrobe in the second.
