Our newly renovated cottage has been designed to meet the needs of any romantic getaway,fun friends’ trip or small family get away.Close by you will find local pubs, a village shop, lovely country pub &Churnet Valley railway. Not too far away is Foxtails Barns, The ashes, Rudyard lake, tittesworth res. Alton towers is just a short drive away as well. With plenty of space for 4 people to enjoy their stay on the peak of Staffordshire Moorlands surrounded by breath-taking views of the rolling hills that make the Peak District National Park, with fantastic walking and cycling routes in abundance. Once you step out of the lodge, the panoramic views of the surrounding areas offer some of the most beautiful sun rises and sunsets.

If you are looking to have a relaxing break away from life’s stresses then The Woodland Watch is perfect. The hut is warm and cosy with all modern amenities set on a working dairy farm. Unwind with the beautiful views and stunning sunsets whilst listening to the woodland wildlife. There are also many lovely walks in our area and good access to local shops. We also have a two bedroomed property called Rock End Retreat located at the same address if guests wish to bring a larger group.

Tom Toms Country Cottage

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Located in the Peak District National Park. 7 miles from Ashbourne and 7 miles from Leek. Alton Towers is a 10 minute drive and the polar bear enclosure at Peak Wildlife centre is a 5 minute drive. A perfect location for those wishing to explore the Peak District National Park. Close to Manifold Valley, Thors Cave, Dovedale, Thorpe cloud, Matlock farm park and the Churnet Valley Railway. There is a pub within a 10 - 15 min walk.

The Annex

We are situated just outside the picturesque village of Bagnall. We are a 25 minute drive from Alton Towers, 20 minutes from the market town of Leek and 20 minutes from the Potteries. The annex is a self contained building standing next to our home. It sleeps 4 and is perfect for a family. It has a fully equipped kitchen complete with a washing machine. We have a number of animals sharing our lives, most of whom are very happy to welcome visitors.

Dolly is our highland cow on the farm that you may get chance to see during your stay. The stunning views are sure to make your stay relaxing and memorable. Dolly’s hut is unique as it has a connecting bridge from the hut to the outdoor seating area.
