Cow Lane Cottage

This delightful end stone cottage sits on the outskirts of the picturesque Cheshire town of Bollington, with stunning views from the rear up to the landmark 'White Nancy' and rolling valleys at the front. The cottage is named for the cows that live in the surrounding fields who will often pop their heads over the garden wall to have a munch on the foliage. The cottage also benefits from being close to restaurants, shops,  pubs, and the Macclesfield canal that winds it way through the village.

Welcome to our cute converted stone outbuilding in a quiet part of the village which is a small village on the Woodhead Pass on the edge of Manchester and the Peak District. It is ideally situated for walkers enjoying the Pennine Way and Longdendale Trail. There are good road and public transport links to the village. Guests will have the privacy of the cottage but we are available in our family home opposite. Additional fees are added for early check in and check out. £5 charge for pets.

Cosy 1 bedroom cottage located just off Buxton's central market place where there is an abundance of pubs, restaurants and shops. The property is a 5 minute walk into Buxton's historic town and the iconic Crescent Hotel. Parking is available directly outside the property or there is plenty of free on street parking or a big car park 20m walk away (there is a residents pass for this car park). The renovated cottage has Netflix,Wi-Fi and a private outdoor area with BBQ to enjoy the fresh air.

Your double room, with en-suite shower room, lounge and kitchenette are self contained. Walk out of the door and be on a footpath within minutes.

A perfect retreat for the outdoor lovers! Ideally located on the canal and backing onto The National Trust Lyme Park on the edge of the Peak District. Ideal for walking, mountain biking, cycling and exploring the picturesque countryside and beautiful wildlife. Close proximity to the charming village of Poynton with its lovely shops, restaurants, pubs, coffee shops and supermarkets. Only 5 minutes down the road there is a charming pub with an excellent outside area and traditional menu.

A sleeps two, barn conversion with original beams. The Nook is located at Back Tor Farm in the Edale Valley. We welcome all enquiries of three nights or more but do prefer Friday changeover dates. It is an essential part of our hosting terms that the person responsible for booking our property makes their full name and mobile number available to us in the Airbnb booking process. 3rd Party bookings are not acceptable. Patio is a stunning sun trap with views of the river Sett and village of Hayfield. Enjoy a morning coffee or an evening wine relaxing on the patio watching the ducks float across the river or a cosy evening in front of the living room log burner. The cottage is located in central Buxton, 10 mins walk from the cultural centre around The Opera House and Crescent Spa Hotel. It is convenient for Bus and Rail connections. There is a single VW Golf sized parking place (larger if you're careful) at the rear with metered EV charge point. We have designed the rebuilding to include a room-in-the-roof bedroom, whole house ventilation with heat recovery, underfloor heating throughout, powered by Mitsubishi Ecodan Air Source Heat Pump.
