Quiet hideaway in Matlock with far reaching views

A fully renovated cottage in the unique conservation area of Matlock bank with an open plan living room and double bedroom. Downstairs The kitchen has everything you need including a full size dishwasher, microwave and enough pots, pans & utensils to whip up a fabulous meal. A fabulous Nespresso coffee machine and pods provided means you’ll wake up on your first morning with a kick start to the day. The dining table extends to seat up to 4 guests, the Smart television and inclusive internet means you’ll have all you need to relax or entertain. The open fire uses kiln dried logs or similar giving a wonderful homely feel to snuggle up. Upstairs You’ll find a sumptuous double bed, wardrobe with drawers, hairdryer and iron & mini-board. The desperate fully refurbished bathroom has a large shower, basin and all the amenities you’ll need to refresh yourself for a great day out or ready to relax.

Peaceful and away from it all but close enough to explore the beauty of the Peak District and Chatsworth House. Matlock is a couple of miles away with restaurants, shops and amenities. You can start exploring from the door step; we can help with guides, directions and recommendations. The room can be configured as a luxury Super King or twin beds.

Recently built -welcoming village escape

Hillside is a newly built limestone self contained holiday let, on the edge of a pretty Derbyshire village. Hillside overlooks the village of Bonsall (near Matlock) offering beautiful views from the windows and private patio of the village and surrounding countryside. Bonsall offers 2 excellent pubs, cafe and village shop. There are numerous walks from the doorstep - the Limestone Way passes through the village. Chatsworth, Bakewell, Dove Dale and the Monsal Trails are all a short drive away.

Thistledown Cottage, Snitterton near Matlock

Situated in the Peak District National Park, locations don't come much better than this. Thistledown Cottage provides superb views across the valley and lovely walks from the door. A brisk riverside stroll will soon get you to the local pubs in Darley Bridge. Matlock, with its county town facilities is a 5 minute drive. Spinney Farm cottage is set in an idyllic rural location on a quiet country lane overlooking the village of Bonsall. Footpaths on your doorstep lead you into the beautiful countryside. Spinney Farm is the home to a herd of alpacas which you are welcome to visit and you may also see the cows from Puddle Hill farm in the nearby fields. Spinney Farm cottage is set in a dry stone wall enclosure therefore a safe and secure place for children to play and for you to sit and relax.
