This two bed cottage is in an idyllic rural location with breath-taking views. Walk through fields onto a footpath down to the picturesque village of Ashford-in-the-Water or uphill to the drama of Monsal Head. Please note - bathroom refurbishment completed March 2026. The Coach House will still offer one full family bathroom for guests to share (with sink, loo, shower-over-bath). The new en-suite ‘dressing room’ will contain a sink, toilet and vanity area but it no longer has a separate shower.

It has its own private entrance and garden (5 steps down) with an off-road parking space for a small car. A deceptively spacious bolthole the flat has one large bedroom with a kingsize bed, bathroom with bath and shower, a library and study area, a light and airy living room, and a recently upgraded kitchen. Central heating and WiFi. Meet and greet check in from 10:00 - 16:00 only.

The cottage is located in central Buxton, 10 mins walk from the cultural centre around The Opera House and Crescent Spa Hotel. It is convenient for Bus and Rail connections. There is a single VW Golf sized parking place (larger if you're careful) at the rear with metered EV charge point. We have designed the rebuilding to include a room-in-the-roof bedroom, whole house ventilation with heat recovery, underfloor heating throughout, powered by Mitsubishi Ecodan Air Source Heat Pump.
