This uniquely built barn situated in the Gold Coast hinterland is within walking distance to national parks. Made from recycled wharf timber, the barn is set on an 18 acre farm beset by green lawns. A king bed with ensuite, separate shower & bath make up the loft bedroom. Downstairs features a second bathroom / laundry, fire place, lounge, study & self inflating bed (inflatable bed linen not included), dining & fully equipped kitchen before walking onto a large deck overlooking the rainforest.

This serene location enables you to listen to abundant bird calls and watch the native animals without disturbing them. The chalet offers private and uninterrupted views of the surrounding area. For those seeking an escape, the chalet offers everything you could want.

The Rustic Greenhouse: breakfast and wood provided

A rustic studio attached to the family home, with its own entrance. Refresh with a complimentary cheese board. Enjoy the plant filled space where you can enjoy a breakfast of fresh bread, eggs, cereal, milk, butter, jam, honey & coffee. At night light the fireplace with the wood provided. Take the picnic basket and rug provided, & explore the Mountain. We are located on the Main Road leading into Gallery Walk. If you are sensitive to road noise we might not be the perfect place for you.

The unforgettable escape of The Chalet @ Darclo Farm rests upon the open grassy hillside, overlooks the meandering valleys towards the picturesque Mt Flinders, in the Scenic Rim. The Chalet is 100% off grid and is home to a happy herd of roaming cattle, koalas, kangaroos & other wildlife. Soak under the stars in the outdoor stone bath, unwind with a book on the deck while overlooking the paddocks, stroll along the tracks or snooze in the king size bed. Hamilton's Hideaway - self contained apartment.

Large, light décor, main room with queen bed, kitchenette and dining, separate and very private bathroom, plus external deck. Very close to shops and medical, restaurants, cafes, pizzas, liquor outlet, small supermarket, dentist; a nearby National Park. Note - this is a secluded area of comfort and not suited to children, babies, infants of any age. Please accept apologies for this unavoidable policy. Nor is it a suitable place for wedding preparations, gatherings or any events.
