Delve into the history of this unique and memorable renovated 1898 limestone schoolhouse. Ring the bell, write on the 125 year old blackboard and explore the original details throughout this amazing property. The culinary kitchen, great room and large deck provide spectacular views of the Flint Hills. We are located a half mile North of I-70 on Route 99, the Road to Oz. The quaint downtown of Wamego is only 10 minutes away and 25 minutes from Manhattan, both with shops, food and entertainment.

The home is very comfy and great for a long term stay as we have a washer and dryer available. There is a basement with access from the interior for safety during storms if needed. The patio is very secluded and great for outdoor dining; a charcoal grill is provided. In the Sunroom there is a desk and chair and great wifi service. Comfortable for four guests but can accommodate up to 6 guests. (bedroom has a king size bed, sunroom has two twins and sofa fold out into a queen size bed)

You are renting a century-old homestead house. The bathroom is on the main floor, and the bedrooms are upstairs. 5 beds. Extra charge for more than 2. It has all the amenities for a comfortable stay: loft bedroom with a queen bed, additional queen inflatable bed (17” high) downstairs and a twin bed downstairs. The cabin also has an open kitchen, bathroom with shower, wood-burning stove, surround-sound stereo and a TV (Netflix and YouTube available). You’ll have the entire place to yourselves.
