This romantic retreat is set in the heart of the picturesque village of Butterton which overlooks the beautiful Manifold Valley in the Peak District. The lanes are lined with pretty sandstone cottages and an idyllic ford runs through the cobbled street below the cottage and a great country pub is round the corner. Bonsall has two pubs and a Tea Room a few minutes walk from the property. Bonsall Carnival week starts on the last Saturday of July every year.
