The cosy cottage is perfect for peaceful strolls across Donegal’s breathtaking beach’s& it’s the ultimate backdrop for a low-key romantic break, however, you’ll have to make friends with the cows while you’re there!

It rests in the heart of the Gaeltacht on a laneway 1km from the village of Gortahork. It is shaded by majestic trees, a vegetable garden and views of Magheraroarty beach. The Poison Glen and Errigal mountain are within 10 minutes drive. The cottage is at the heart of a variety of outdoor pursuits, cultural experiences and nature itself.

Our rustic small place is located at the end of a quiet, peaceful lane and has unrestricted views of the Derryveagh Mountains in West Donegal. There are no street lights and it is four km from the nearest shop. It is immersed in nature and is suitable for people seeking peace and quiet who value wildlife and conservation. We have wifi but it is not reliable. Phone coverage in the lodge is limited.

Ailt cottage

Situated in Falcarragh in the Donegal County region, Ailt Cottage Falcarragh has a terrace and garden views. The guests benefit from complimentary WiFi and private parking. Pets are welcome at a small fee of 50euro per pet payments must be paid through resolutions center . Dog beds and feeding bowls are available in the cottage with a large garden for your pets to enjoy
