It's only minutes away from tram link and bus stops with direct access (10-15 mins - subject to roadworks) to the City centre for the universities, theatres, shops, bars and train station. The gorgeous countryside of the Rivelin and Loxley valleys are only minutes away for walking, cycling and running. Further afield, the delights of the Peak District are easily accessible by car or by bus/train from the city. It's a well situated lovely relaxing space.
