The cottage has been lovingly restored, in the traditional style and is kept cosy with a wood burning stove and oil fired central heating. The snug mezzanine bedroom overlooks the kitchen/sitting room, a delightful place to rest your head after a day's exploring.

Our rustic small place is located at the end of a quiet, peaceful lane and has unrestricted views of the Derryveagh Mountains in West Donegal. There are no street lights and it is four km from the nearest shop. It is immersed in nature and is suitable for people seeking peace and quiet who value wildlife and conservation. We have wifi but it is not reliable. Phone coverage in the lodge is limited.

Small traditional Irish cottage 2 minute drive from creeslough town and 15 minute drive from dunfanaghy, cottage is beside a river If you wanted to fish , 5 minute drive from ards forest park where there is lovely walks and a beautiful beach. The cottage has 1 bedroom with double bed , living room/kitchen with stove fire, the sofa is a sofa bed also. cottage has central heating also

Whin hill cottage’s guesthouse is located near Marble hill beach and Ards forest park, between the village of Creeslough and the sea side village of Dunfananaghy. 20 minute walk to the beach, 25 minutes walk to the Shanndon hotel. The Cow Shed at Neadú is a cosy, rustic converted byre situated on our property in a very tranquil scenic area. The view from the cottage looks towards the beautiful Glendowan mountains and Glenveagh National Park. Ideal for a peaceful retreat or a great base from which to explore Donegal.
