Delph is a lovely village in Saddleworth to the west side of the Pennine Hills with picturesque views and close to Dobcross, Uppermill and Dovestone Reservoir. Lots of fantastic walks and activities for all to do. Great local country pubs and restaurants are close by, many in walking distance not to mention all the wedding venues too.

Cosy cottage -West Pennine Moors

The historic village of Chapeltown is ideal for walking, cycling or just relaxing. A stone’s throw away is the friendly pub, offering great pub food. A 5 minute walk will take you to the Wayoh reservoir and surrounding areas leading to Entwistle and Jumbles Country park. Turton Tower is a short walk away and Bromley Cross train station is 1.5 miles with a direct line to Manchester and Clitheroe. The Lancashire cycle way runs past the doorstep as does as the cycling stage of Ironman uk.

Fielden Farm Barn

The cottage is situated on a small Pennine hill farm. It is in a quiet, secluded area at the end of the farm lane but is only a mile from the small town of Littleborough which has supermarkets and shops. Trains from Littleborough connect to Manchester and Leeds. M62 junction 21 is 10-15 min drive. We live in the adjacent farmhouse so guests will often see us around the farm doing various jobs. We are more than happy to interact and have a chat but respect those who want privacy.

The cottage is perfect as a base for walkers, runners and families looking for a relaxing break in nature.

Pots & Pans Cottage is a charming dog-friendly​ 18th-century weavers cottage located in a small hamlet 10 minutes walk from the centre of Uppermill village in Saddleworth, and 35 minutes away from Manchester. The location of the cottage is quiet and peaceful, so it is not a suitable place to hold a party. It is, however, a fabulous spot for a relaxing retreat into the countryside, with the open Peak District right on the doorstep.
