Peaceful cottage in Summerseat near Ramsbottom in Bury overlooking the River Irwell & East Lancashire steam railway. Plenty of room for 4 with a king-size room, twin room & spacious 2nd floor providing playroom/workspace & 2nd WC. Front garden with views of the railway & river & an enclosed rear patio. A restaurant, garden centre cafe, convenience store & 2 pubs are a 10 minute walk & the motorway is a 5 minute drive. Community park, children's play area & countryside walks are on the doorstep.

The Little Green Cosy Cottage

Come and stay at this cosy cottage close to the beautiful Birtle & Deeply vale, with lovely walks or bike rides through the countryside. Fairfield hospital & Bury Hospice are close by. Just a 5 min drive to Bury Town centre with a tram into Manchester that takes around 20 mins, 20 mins drive to Ramsbottom or Rochdale. The cosy cottage consists of a comfortable living room, kitchen, two double bedrooms, a bathroom with a bath tub and shower, and a small suntrap garden to sit out on sunny days.

Relax in the hammock on the veranda, snuggle up on the sofa in front of the fire, cosy up in bed under the feather duvet lit with fairy lights. Private hot tub available for hire for an additional £42. Book farm tours with hot buttered toast and dippy eggs, goat hang out experiences, bee keeping experiences or venture off on one of the many local trails.

This is a relaxing completely self-contained studio in very quiet surroundings yet only a few minutes walk from delicious eateries and quirky bars in Ramsbottom and Holcombe Brook. It is perfect for couples who enjoy the great outdoors (you can walk onto the West Pennine Moors from the house) or for those just looking for a private retreat in which to unwind. Plenty of free unrestricted on street parking. Please note we cannot accept children or pets, the studio is compact and not suitable.

The historic village of Chapeltown is ideal for walking, cycling or just relaxing. A stone’s throw away is the friendly pub, offering great pub food. A 5 minute walk will take you to the Wayoh reservoir and surrounding areas leading to Entwistle and Jumbles Country park. Turton Tower is a short walk away and Bromley Cross train station is 1.5 miles with a direct line to Manchester and Clitheroe. The Lancashire cycle way runs past the doorstep as does as the cycling stage of Ironman uk.
