A light, airy, cosy cottage in the heart of Wirksworth. Close to pubs and restaurants, it’s perfect for relaxing or as a base when exploring the area. The wood burning stove makes the perfect accompaniment to a relaxing night in. Logs provided and if you wish to purchase more they can be delivered to the cottage. Beautiful 18th Century Cottage

The Wee House on the Hill is a perfect retreat for a relaxing get away. Country walks straight from the door or a short stroll down into Wirksworth, an ancient market town steeped in history. The cottage is located in one of the oldest parts of Wirksworth, where miners cottages were randomly built around the hillside with a unique maze of paths and 'ginnels' (alleyways). Lots of independent shops and cafes & quirky pubs. Not forgetting Wirksworth's very own 'cool' & independent cinema!

Dog friendly, one small or medium dog welcome. Situated only a 4 minute downhill walk to the centre of the historic, picturesque village of Wirksworth. Pubs, restaurants, cinema and shops are all close by. Our cottage has been lovingly restored and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

The Annexe - Belle Vue House

The Annexe to Belle Vue House was built for Servants to the main house in 1823. The grade 2 listed building commands an elevated position overlooking Matlock Bath. The property has been lovingly updated to keep period features while providing modern living. The property is accessible via a flight of stone stairs from the lower drive way. Due to the period nature and historic listing road side parking is necessary.
