Originally built in 1877 as a miners cottage, the house oozes quality and has been restored to an extremely high standard preserving some original features. This home is extremely close to supermarkets (2 minute walk) and restaurants and pubs (5 minutes) located in Wrexham Town centre. If countryside walks and historical interests are a theme for your visit, why not walk to Erddig Park, Wrexhams own ‘Downton Abbey’!

Set in a cottage garden on a hillside above the town of Llangollen our lovely blue cabin has panoramic views across town towards Castell Dinas Bran and the Horseshoe Pass. Beautiful Llangollen is great for a break any time of year. Sit with a drink on the decking, or in front of the little log burner, and watch the sunset over the mountains, or the snow sweeping in along the valley. Take a glass of sparkly and have a bath under the stars.

Cabin in Llay, Wrexham

Set on the edge of a private woodland, this cozy and comfortable log cabin is a perfect place for a relaxing get away. There is no wi-fi so an ideal place to switch off and enjoy. It is located on the boarder between Wales and England and is close to many places including Llangollen, Chester, Snowdonia and Liverpool. Parking is available in our large driveway and The Cabin is just a 2 minute walk from there. The Cabin is private and has it's own enclosed garden area with a fire pit.

It has been sympathetically renovated and brought back to life with style at the forefront, whilst keeping every unique feature in tact. We have taken advantage of the high ceiling with an incredible mezzanine bedroom with kingsize bed and installed a log burner for added comfort during the colder months. Geodesic Dome with wood-fired hot tub in the heart of Shropshire countryside. Situated in a 3 acre paddock on our family small holding. Getting around we would suggest you have a car or bike as there is no public transport or cabs. Please note we are a working farm so you will see and hear tractors during your stay. Our family are also keen equestrians so you will also see horses. There is also a Glamping Cabin in the field so you may see other guests during your stay.

The Nest is situated on the boundary of a working farm.
