The Ft. Bragg Coastal Trail that runs just West of our property is a beautiful way to see parts of our coast by bicycle or on foot. There are many different entrances and parking areas if one wishes to go by foot. You can catch the North end of the trail from Ward Ave. which is just in back of our property. If you take the trail North you can walk through the 10-mile dune preserve all the way to the south side of the mouth, of the 10-mile river and the 10-mile bridge. Its a long beautiful walk and that stretch of beach is one of my most favorites here on the Mendocino Coast. If you take the trail going South from the Ward Ave. parking area, you will walk through MacKerricher State Park, over the Pudding Creek Tresle and into Glass Beach. This is a long paved walk. If you choose to drive, there are several parking areas after the Trestle. To access those parking areas, turn West at the stop light of Elm St and Main St. Denny's is on the corner. Look for signs for Glass Beach. The trail continues South all the way through Fort Bragg. This is a great path for bicyclists wanting to stay off Hwy One.

Want to walk off your lunch? Here you go! This lovely trail is paved with markers and benches. It goes all along the coastline from Glass Beach to Todd’s Point, about 5 miles each way. Great for running if you’re so inclined to bring your running shoes with you on vacation!

Great walk or bike ride around the Fort Bragg bluffs with a paved trail that goes on for miles. you can get on the trail at many points but it begins at Todd's point (take a turn towards the ocean at the McDonalds light) and ends at McKercher State park.

The Coastal Trail runs from South Fort Bragg to out of town North of MacKerricher State Park. Incredibly beautiful place to take a stroll on a paved path. There are several benches and picnic tables that are perfect for a picnic.
