Echo Park’s awesome old-school 1980s arcade comes complete with a pinball room. I took an actor client once, and we had a great time. It’s a good way to let off some steam and not take yourselves too seriously. The Thai bar food is exquisite. I love the crispy tofu balls and the tamarind chicken wings, and there are a dozen craft beers on tap. This is exactly the kind of spot where you can impress someone who likes to nerd out for an evening.

I guess this might be called a barcade. It's got food and some tasty vegan options. It's got beer and wine. It's all ages until 9pm every night. They start carding at 8:15. And no cover charge. You get tokens to play arcade games. Tokens are priced like quarters. So 4 tokens is 1 dollar. It's definitely a fun experience. They've got games like Frogger, Galaga, Millipede, Missile Command, Moonwalker, Street Fighter ll, Rampage, Donkey Kong, Burgertime, Berzerk, Centipede, Food Fight, and many many more. Plus they have a bunch of pinball games too!
