There's an energy about the poolside restaurant stylish boutique hotel The Arrive, where groups linger over cocktails and casual dishes on the patio from day into night. New chef Carmen Rodriguez is amping up the menu's focus on Asian-Latin fusion with adds like a (really, really good) achiote chicken ramen bowl, and banana-leaf slow-cooked barbacoa tacos (one of nearly a dozen choices of mix-and-match taco offerings), along with a chipotle-teriyaki ribeye. For dessert, try the make-your-own ice cream sandwich with artisanal ice cream made at the shop next door.

As part of the Arrive Hotel, this brunch or lunch spot (serving breakfast all day) serves up delicious churros, margaritas, salads, and sandwiches with great outdoor shady seating. Bring your bathing suit for a swim in the hotel’s saline pool ($30 on weekdays) after satiating your stomach. 12 minute walk
