The most NW lighthouse, on Tatossh Island that protects those entering the Strait of Juan De Fuca and Puget Sound. You can see Vancouver Island in the distance. Wildlife in and out of the water. It is an easy walk/hike, mostly on well kept boardwalks. Thanks to the Neah Bay Makah Indians. Please stop at the gas station BEFORE you head yo to the Lighthouse trail to get your pass, it is only $5 and is good for a full year! Beautiful walk through the rain forest that leads to the most amazing lookout over the NW Pacific Ocean! THE BEST SIGHT IN WA STATE!!! imho

Their are certain spots you are called to visit and this is one...this trail is 1.5 miles each way to the tip of the coast of Washington. Amazing views. Easy hike through a fairy land of woods, stone paths, and tall trees. Eagles will play along the cliff so bring your binoculars. Talk to me about the best route...the roads are sometimes closed. FREE
