You can go on a guided bike ride! It's not specifically for tourists, more for locals, but you can join in, and you will be taken with a group on safe routes to a coffee shop somewhere in or around Glasgow. Bikes can be borrowed, and there is a recommended donation of a couple of pounds! www.freewheelnorth.org.uk for more info. There are go-carts too if you just want to go and play around the track!

Next to the People's Park/Palace, here you can hire go-carts/bikes and explore the track. Cafes and giant play park next door good for little and big kids.

Charity offering led bike tours around Glasgow from their bases at Templeton Street on Glasgow Green and The White House on Maryhill Road (by Maryhill Locks on the Forth and Clyde Canal - 15mins walk from our flat). Bikes available to hire. Check out their website for more information.

You can hire bikes for one,two, three or more and cycle all sorts of trailers and karts too; to use on their fun cycle track tucked away in the corner on Glasgow Green. Staff on hand to help those who are not confident cyclists or with additional needs. Loved by kids and adults alike. They also host regular cycle tours for the less confident, a nice way to see the city. Take your own bike or borrow one of theirs on the day.
