Rancho Tonto Catch-A-Trout is located on the former homestead property of “Green Valley” Sam Haught, best known as the rescuer of historic MGM mascot Leo the Lion. The property borders beautiful Tonto Creek and is open as a day-use fishing facility for catching rainbow trout. All-inclusive fishing prices offer visitors pole, bait, net, and bucket rental, with free cleaning, packaging, and professional assistance available for all catches. Visitors only pay for fish caught, with no limits on catches and no proof of license required.

Here you will find a stocked pond where they will supply a pole, bait and clean the fish that you catch after. They charge by the inch, which can add up if you catch a lot. This is really fun for kids as it is easy to catch fish here!

This is a really neat little place to bring the kids for a ton of fun catching Rainbow Trout. For a very nominal fee they equip you with everything you need (pole, line, hook, bait) to go out to one of their stocked ponds and reel em’ in! It’s a sure bet the kids will be catching some nice fish and in the world of fishin’ there are very few places that are a sure bet!
