Promptly named after the famous tempura district in Tokyo, Asakusa is also known their authentic Japanese tempura. They learned the art of tempura from a master in Japan, which they now carefully prepare and serve their patrons. Ambience – 4.5/5 Service – 3/5 Location – 4/5 Food – 4/5 Food Recommendation: Shogun Set (PhP 368.00 - 3 pcs) (PhP 578.00 - 5 pcs) [Black Tiger Prawns] An almost perfect tempura. However, I’ve found that the batter somewhat lacks taste. Uni Tempura (PhP 268.00) Creamy, buttery and flavorful sea goodness that melts in your mouth. By far my favorite sea urchin dish that I ever tried.
