Works to strengthen family and community life through programs and various means of support. They also operate the Cochrane Society for Housing Options, helping those with reduced incomes to find affordable and safe housing. The Parent Link Centre offers parenting courses and resources. The Resource Centre provides information about community resources and available supports. FCSS oversees volunteer services for the Town of Cochrane. Additionally, they offer numerous free or reduced cost courses such as ASSIST, Mental Health First Aid for Adults Interacting with Youth, and Community Support training. They work with the Cochrane Activettes to direct clients to the Food Bank to obtain hampers.
