The most awesome family playground we have ..on the bank of Lake Macquarie (largest inland salt lake) an abundance of green open spaces for picnics/bbqs

Great playground for kids aged 2-12 years. Take their bikes, have a picnic right on the lake. There is a long jetty for fishing. Kids can play in the water area, flying fox, sand, giant slide or climb on the play equipment. Something suitable for all kids here. A cafe is also available.

amazing (scary & fun) slide. This is the premier area of Council - lots of shade, covered areas, great views, weekend markets, 2 cafes.

Approx 15-20 mins drive. Lovely large park with quite new large enclosed playground. Options for all ages. Great spot for a picnic. Plenty of space and areas for family get togethers. Take away cafe/restaurant. Jetty. The Lake Mac Ferry stops here. Can walk from Speers Point to Warners bay. Markets on some weekends.

If you have children and are looking for a fantastic place to go - this park is for you. Complete with flying foxes, coffee(!!) and safety fences, this is a great place to go for the whole family. If you have bikes or scooters it is also worth packing them for the play road inside the park. (Take a change of clothes for the kids, there is water play in there too).
