Lakeside is great to visit if you have children. It’s old fashioned family fun.

Historic Lakeside is one of the few true chataquas left from the 19th century chataqua movement which combined "recreation, education, spirituality." Fun swimming off the pier Fishing off pier Historical society Sailboat, board, and kayak rentals Gate admission charged except you can go Sunday morning for church and stay till 3:00 without paying gate admission. You can also walk through or go to businesses (pizza, icecream, gift shops, movie theater, laundry mat) without paying admission: Talk to gate attendant
