A Short hike passing over Meech Lake to get to the Ruins of a carbide mill. We are not experienced hikers and we had no problems getting there. Amazing spot to pack a lunch and sit next to the water or waterfalls.

Enjoy this 4.35 km, out and back trail near Chelsea, Quebec. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 1 h 27 min to complete. This is a very popular area for cross-country skiing, hiking, and trail running, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime.

Cool ruins with a short hike to get to them, with lots of things to explore and see when you get there.

The ruins of an old experimental production facility that used water much like a dam to power its production of a product used for fertilizers. Nice sized water fall. Hold on to the hands of young ones as there are many climbing opportunities.
