This very expensive hotel hosts an amazing art collection. Ask for a brochure at the desk and if they are not busy they do show you around. Take time to enjoy a tea or coffee in the lounge afterwards or splash out on their art themed afternoon tea!

If you fancy a splurge treat yourself to Art Afternoon Tea. It is more than afternoon tea. It is a ritual to be savoured. The Merrion’s pastry chefs, serve a collection of pastries, each one inspired by a work of art. Nine works of art were chosen by the pastry chefs. All the paintings hang either in the Front Hall, Reception or in the classically elegant, deeply comfortable, Georgian Drawing Rooms, overlooking the private courtyard gardens, where afternoon tea is served. A great selection of teas including matcha iced tea.
