If you are heading north through Ballina it's worth stopping here to stretch the legs, learn a bit about the establishment of Thursday Plantation, and have fun getting lost in the Tea-tree maze.

Thursday plantation is the original home of tea tree and is just a ten minute drive from the villa. You can see how the family-owned business commercialised tea tree as well as explore the children's maze and the rainforest walk which is made up of tea tree plants.
