Portland gets a lot of negative press these days but still an awesome city with great parks and stunning food. We love this place and consider it one of the reasons we love Washougal.

The city of bridges, Voodoo donuts, Portland Trail Blazers basketball, Nike running, downtown shopping, views of the mountains, the Willamette River running through it... all just over an hour away. Hit the city for the day, enjoy some amazing food, top it off with a Voodoo donut, and basically, you've had a day that's hard to beat. Maybe if you caught a Timbers or Trail Blazers game to go with it..

Portland is known for its coffee houses, food carts, breweries/pubs and greenery where you can hike and explore the sites all over town!
