Water taxi at boat launch accross the street from hose will take you to the island. You can spend the day hiking swimming, and site seeing!

You can actually take a small ferry from the north side of the island to this remote destination. I have never taken the ferry, but I have kayaked here and it's pretty neat. There are tons of seals, sea lions, and otters lounging around the shores. The seagull picture in the master bedroom was taken here.

This is a 564-acre marine park with 77700 feet of shoreline. Sucia Island is considered the crown jewel of the state's marine park system
