Due to minimal customer service, a raw industrial interior, and the size of the conglomerates market share, Bónus can underbid all of their competitors and surveys almost always find it to be Iceland's cheapest grocery store. Good price, a large variety of basic food items, accessibility.

Also located at Laugavegur and Hallveigastígur. The cheapest Supermarket chain in Iceland. (note: do not shop at a store called 10/11 as it is super expensive).

This is where the locals shop, stay away from places like 10/11, 11/11 or any other grocery stores you might come across.. Bonus and Kronan are the only budget friendly grocery stores in iceland.
