This cafe is in a beautiful setting on the river. The food is really good and healthy. They also have an Kawartha ice cream window. The coffee is OK but the other drinks are better.

One of the few places in our area that you can enjoy a snack and a scene of the river.

Grab an icecream or a coffee, take a stroll down the path, or rent a paddle board and get out on the water (season dependent)

This little gem is truly like being at a cottage in the city. You can rent kayaks and paddle boards on site. And they serve ice cream! Open May through mid-October.

This is a beautiful spot for lunch with a paved path along the waterfront for a scenic walk or bike ride. I believe there is a place you can rent a paddleboat or Canoe really close to this (you can see the boats from the Cafe - it's right there). You can ask at the Cafe.
