memorial to 41 miners that lost their lives in the Milford Mine disaster of 24. There is a beautiful hiking trail around the lake, which includes interpretive panels that detail the history of the Cuyuna area and the Milford Mine disaster.

Learn about Minnesota's worst mining disaster at this new park. Picnic tables with grills and pavilion. Canoe launch and fishing dock. Walking trails, historic town site, boardwalk and more. Very nicely done!
