It's cheaper than most places and has amazing view on waterlooplein! The people who work there are from Amsterdam, can be a little harsh but that's the mentality of 'Amsterdammers'. The have hearts of gold :).

Traditional Amsterdam pub ('Bruine kroeg') situated in an old orphanage. Offers beer and slot machines. Little weird but great atmosphere.
