This is a county park that has a strict no alcohol policy. There are pavillions to have lunch and beach area with swimming as well as trail head to hike. We did tube this river a little bit but it was slower and shorter at about 30 minutes of tubing then you have to carry your tube on the trail back. More suitable for smaller children since the water isn't rushing.

A nice option for families. It's about 15 minutes away. The shady park has playgrounds, covered picnic shelters, picnic tables next to the river, bathroom facilities, trails, and handicap access to a waterfall. (Park entry is $2 per car.)

This is a great place to hike within the park. Take a dip in the cool waters.
