If you love natural hot springs, and Sandy and I do, an afternoon trip to Bannack followed by a soak at Elkhorn and informal dinner at the lodge is wonderful. Elkhorn Hot Springs is a year-round hot springs resort which offers two outdoor hot mineral pools, a Grecian sauna, a restaurant, and a bar. Guests enjoy hiking, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, plus downhill skiing at nearby Maverick Mountain.

Outdoor Hotsprings with two pools, one hotter than the other. Lodge is open with full menu. During Covid: Currently only open to registered guests.
