A föld alatti látogatási szint az „50-es Szinten” működik, amely 120 m mélyen helyezkedik el a felszínhez viszonyítva. A közlekedés a sóvállalat autóbuszaival van megoldva, ami az 1250 m hosszú alagúton keresztül a látogatási szinthez vezető kapuig szállítja az embereket. A látogatási szintre leérve egy kisváros minden felszerelésével találkozhatunk: viágítás, vezeték nélküli internet, televízió, játszóterek, foglalkoztató és kikapcsolódási terek, ökumenikus kápolna, kávézó, 3D moziterem és egy gyógynövényes szaküzlet. Mindezek segítenek önöknek, hogy az itt eltöltött időt minél jobban ki tudják használni. Az éves átlaghőmérséklet a bányakamrában 16 Celsius fok. A látogatási szintről kifelé jövet a „60-as Szinten” találják meg a „József-bánya” Kilátót. Szintén ezen a szinten lehetőségük van egy bórkostolásra, majd egy változatos menüből választva a bányavendéglőben megebédelhetnek. Egy év leforgása alatt megközelítőleg 400 000 személy látogat meg bennünket, és a nyári idpszakban akár 2500/3000 személy is megfordul naponta a hatalmas bányában. A nyári időszakban a földalatti látogatás után szeretettel várjuk a sósvizű strandunkon is.

In the heart of the salt hill, we reach with a bus through a 1,200-meter-long tunnel, then descend 277 steps into the mine on foot, where a real underground city 120 meters deep unfolds before our eyes. The air is highly ionized and extremely effective in treating respiratory diseases.

The recreational base of the Praid salt mine is located at "Horizon 50", which is 120 m below the surface. The salt buses transport the people 1250 m through the mine, to the entrance of the recreational base. Once you reach the Recreation Center, you can enjoy all the facilities of a small community: lighting, wireless access, television, children's playgrounds, creative and recreational spaces, ecumenical chapel, café, 3D cinema and a drugstore with herbal products. The average annual underground temperature is 16 degrees Celsius.

Praid salt mine, at 64km, is an important objective to visit both from a tourist point of view and from a therapeutic point of view. Inside there's an adventure park (for kids and adults), a cafeteria, ping-pong tables, a few small shops, some information panels presenting the salt mine's history with many photos and representations of how salt has been mined from vertical wells in the past and the tools used in salt mining, in different historical periods. There's a restaurant with an affordable menu and even a church. There are many tables and benches along the walls so you can have a seat and rest, eat or have a drink. Plenty of people bring their laptops and work as there are numerous power outlets throughout the area and there's also free WiFi. It is opened from 8:00 until 16:00. The buses are traveling from 8:00 o'clock untill 14:30 twice an hour.
