After living in the area for over ten years, I finally visited the zoo and wondered why I hadn't been before. There's a great selection of animals to see and chance to go up high in the castle too.

See: Water Dragons, Snow Leopards, Penguins, Pythons, Barbary Sheep, Chimpanzees, a Giant Turtle, Meerkats ... or book an Animal Experience e.g. Tickle a Tapir, or Feed a Big Cat (age-specific, three days a week).

Dudley Zoo is a zoo located in the grounds of Dudley castle. Some of the building s are listed being the worlds largest single collection of Modernist Tecon structures and home to more than 1300 animals
