Being high and north oriented this area has the guaranteed snow for the longest time in the Chamonix valley. Immense freeriding potential! In winter it gets sun only at mid day -- do not forget warm clothing. No need to use any transport -- it is close even for skiers walking in ski boots.

The "extreme" ski area of Chamonix. Also in summer you can access or view the Argentière glacier from the top station.

The starting point to ski on the Aiguille des Grands Montets. A great place for good skiers. Careful, this is the most difficult place to ski in Chamonix (many red and black slopes). If you are a beginner, chose another spot!
