Nice French style restaurant in Forbury Square, great summer terrace. 7 min walk over the Kennet Canal/River foot bridge

You have to have breakfast/brunch here when it's sunny. A quiet area right in the centre of Reading with al fresco tables.

A fine french dining restaurant a short walk from home. Lunchtime specials and close to the park. A little more pricey for a special meal.
