Checking in & out was easy & Joan Marie was always responsive to messages. The apartment has a prime location near the beach, a balcony at the front and a private terrace at the back. The kitchen is well equipped and stocked. There are several drawbacks, however. Storage space is limited (one v narrow closet and a couple of drawers), the rest being locked. There are no recent reviews, but in 2018 one noted that the condo complex was quite run down; this is now very true of the apartment itself. The bathroom is grungy, with cracked tiles, rust, and built-up grime; the shower head drips permanently. Toilet paper has to be disposed of into a bin, making the room quite off-putting. The front of the fridge-freezer is badly marked and, while the inside is clean, the plastic seals around the two doors are black with accumulated mold. The apartment is cleaned (though there are cobwebs in some corners), but tiles, grout, fixtures show extensive wear. In short - heavenly if it were fixed up.

Excelente alojamiento y excelente la anfitriona. Una casa para pasarla en familia.

Wir waren eine der ersten Gäste in dieser schönen Unterkunft. Man ist direkt am Strand, der wunderschön ist zu dieser Jahreszeit. Der Strand war sehr gepflegt und sehr privat. Außerdem durften wir den Pool von Joan nutzen, was auch toll war. Joan war jederzeit für uns zu erreichen und hat uns auch bei kleinen Problemen schnell geholfen. Vielen Dank! Wir waren dort zu viert und können es für eine Vierergruppe auch bestens empfehlen, jeder hatte sein eigenes Bad. Ein Badezimmer geht direkt vom Schlafzimmer ab. Die Lage hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen. Mit dem Collectivo ist man in 15 Minuten in Tulum und in 40 Minuten in Playa del Carmen. Das Collectivo ist deutlich günstiger als die Taxis und auf der Hauptverkehrsstraße zu erreichen.
