Meal was delicious, location very unique and intimate. Group mixed well + conversations were struck up quickly between attendees. Even an introvert may enjoy the intimacy + social fare. Lots of stairs and warm, but reasonable comms + note of same from host. Fourth floor walk up to artists loft. Neat venue. Somewhat frustrated that some dietary restrictions were addressed while others weren’t / thankfully no major issues thanks to another diner who had just the right meds - just discomfort later. Host very talkative + knowledgeable, moving from sharing a lot to some information on a dish or drink. Some early discontent with delays and an oops in the kitchen, but these things happen. Overall a good experience - duck, curry, wines, veg - all delicious. Great for a test into “fancier” cuisine with familiar foods, so to speak. Dress cool (if it’s warm), and be prepared to climb.

Wow this was an absolutely spectacular experience! Robert was so incredibly knowledgeable and his cooking was to die for. It was so much fun listening to him and share all about the inspiration behind each dish and the amount of attention to detail and storytelling was just spectacular. He also has an amazing taste in wine!! he gave us a lot of wonderful recommendations on places to go for the rest of the week and I canceled and rebooked many reservations due to his expert advice and not a single one has disappointed. Couldn’t recommend this experience more!!

This was a fun experience and a perfect way to spend an evening in Montreal.
