I enjoyed getting to better learn how to play out in the gorgeous outdoors. There were so many types of ukuleles to choose from (while I brought my own) so definitely not a problem if you decide not to bring one.
Being a classical musician, I so appreciated getting to learn about the local music scene, as well as having a personalized experience with my knowledge of violin in mind. The experience translated what I knew already in the classical music scene into a unique learning about what makes Hawai’ian music so distinct and special. Their passion for ukulele and all things Hawaiian music was so contagious which made everyone so excited to learn as well :)

This was a perfect activity for our first day. Peter and Kai are amazing teachers and hosts. There were four of us in our group, everyone with different skill levels, and we all picked up new skills, learned about the ukulele’s history, and left feeling accomplished. We could have stayed there all day!

The class was extremely enjoyable and informative. We both felt that the instructor was patient and helpful with his directives.

Fantastic experience, love the small group intimate feel and great location for lessons, really comfortable setting and fun activity! And the hosts are great teachers!
