Alexis is such a wonderful and kind host — staying at his place felt just like visiting an old friend. He’s incredibly thoughtful, always offering me coffee, and we ended up chatting a lot, with him giving me great tips on local spots, concerts, and events. The house was pleasantly cool (I stayed in August) and very quiet, just like the neighbourhood. It’s less than a 10-minute walk to Ostkreuz station, which means you can reach the airport in about 30 minutes and get to the city centre easily. Thanks to Alexis, I had a genuine sharing experience — just like the original spirit of Airbnb.
