The food was all delicious - it would be nice if a single glass of wine (or other drink) was included in the price - Manos was clear that it is an additional charge but I would prefer to pay more and have a drink or two included so it’s a more seamless experience.

Overall, it was nice to learn about the common dishes of Crete but I think it could be a little more engaging / special (although probably part of that would be fixed if there were others who booked at the same time as us since the main vibe was just that we went to lunch w slightly more explanation of the foods).

Manos is an excellent host and very knowledgeable about Greek and especially Cretan cuisine. We were very happy with the tasting experience at beautiful Faedra Beach.

the host was very kind and knowledgeble. He even gave us his contact information if we ever needed help, and let us stay at the hotel pool a few days after. The food was good, but we were expecting something even more special after having seen the description and the pictures. We expected a more engagemang experience and no added costs.

This is an amazing experience. Manos was a fantastic host who taught us about not just the variety of dishes, but also the history and the mindset of the food culture in Crete. We learned so much, ate so much, drank great wine and had a wonderful afternoon. This was hosted at a prime beachfront spot only a quick ten minute drive from the heart of Agios Nikolaos.
