Looking for a quiet place to relax on the beach, swim in the beautiful water and enjoy the untouched part of an already secluded area? Casa de Suenos is your place! We knew we were visiting Xcalak to fish and dive, and weren't sure where to stay. Lucky for us, the Lagoon Studio was available. Our own apartment in paradise with a all we needed to enjoy some down time. There is a grocery truck that comes by to restock your veggies and other basic needs including fresh juices! Jane, the caretaker, was super helpful assisting us in finding fishing guides and letting us in on tips she has picked up in her years of coming to Suenos. Sarah was super accommodating from a far and quickly responded when we wanted to extend our stay..twice! :) Cant thank the two of them enough! So sweet! There are kayaks and scuba gear available, and a couple days we kayaked out to sea, dropped the anchor and took the slings out to catch our own dinner. The beach front spots are super nice too. Overall a great experience!!

This place is the best and Jane was a great host! We got perfect instructions, and we enjoyed being aware of our surroundings. Easy to reach, and feels like you have a private beach. We were happy to be able to cook our own food and watch the stars after. Perfect that you can take a kayak and do some snorkeling, all the equipment there. This place was the best and biggest surprise of our holiday. Hope to come back one day!

We really enjoyed our stay at Sarah's place. It is located far enough from town that you get to feel as if you're in your own private beach, but close enough to drive into town if you need to buy any supplies. The nights were quiet and peaceful, excellent for sleeping and watching stars at night.
The apartment is small but comfortable and has all the basics to cook and store food. The apartment is behind the main house, so you don't have an ocean view, but you can use all of the shared common area in the beachfront of the property. There are also some kayaks and snorkeling equipment that are free to borrow, so we made the most of this and took them out to the ocean to explore the reef.
Jane was an excellent caretaker and made sure we didn't have any issues during our stay. Thanks! We will definitely be back!

Really enjoyed my stay there.
The place is perfect for those who are looking for remote, quiet and relaxed holidays.
Room was clean, cosy with a great view of the seafront.
The kitchen was spacious and well equipped.
Beach also very clean and perfect for snorkeling.
There are few boats you can use and full snorkeling equipment.
Hosts and housekeeper are super friendly and caring.
Keep in mind it’s off grid, so you want to bring some candles with you for a cosy evenings.
