Beautiful home that we really enjoyed staying in. There was a lot of dog hair in the house but the majority of the home was clean. There are no colored lights in the pool. The sound system is a little complex but we managed. My biggest complaint is regarding the boat rental. We ended up not being able to rent the boat due to small craft advisories and my rental money ($175.00)was refunded (less paypal fees(?) however, the $150 boat instruction for 1.5 hours is crap, the instruction was 15 minutes. I was NOT refunded my $50 cleaning fee CASH nor the "Seatow" fee of $35.00 CASH even though I requested the refund from Adam and the hateful lady who came to check us out at 11:00am and I was told the owner was responsible for refunding those funds that I paid to Adam in CASH...??? The "owner" did not respond to my messages. We were also told we needed to check out at 10:00am even though my reservation says 11:00am, not sure why the "managers" would try this shady stuff, but they did. I am going to file a complaint with AirBnB in an effort to get my rightful refund. Everything started off grand and then when I called "Talisa" as I was instructed to do via the APP, she was unpleasant and said she would be there in an hour and a half. She never showed up. But Adam did. He was very pleasant. On our third day, someone knocked on the door and said they were "inspecting" the property and was from the "management company"...?? Hey we appreciate the heads up but have no idea who is who...
The home is large and lovely. The location was perfect. The neighbor was nice. Our last day there were two large dogs that showed up at the house across the water and they barked incessantly. Now....about that CASH refund I had to pay and nobody wants to refund...any ideas???
